Prayer for my ###'s illness

My son is a Diabetic, history of addiction, now he’s clean and kidneys are failing. He has put on ### pounds of fluid. I’m so worried about him. He’s on new medicines and we pray his systems will recover. Please pray for ###. Thank you.

We are truly sorry to hear about your son's illness and the trials he is facing. First, we want to remind you that God is the ultimate healer and comforter.

Let's be reminded of Matthew 11:28 WEB Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.

It is encouraging to hear that your son has overcome his past struggles with addiction. We will pray for his continued strength and deliverance from any temptation that may come his way.

Regarding his health, we pray for God's healing touch upon his body. While the situation may seem dire, we trust in God's power to restore and make whole. Let us not forget that Jesus himself healed many who were sick and suffering. We are reminded of Mark 5:34 WEB: He said to her, Talitha cumi! which means, being interpreted, Girl, I tell you, get up.

We pray for your son's kidneys to be healed and for the fluid retention to subside. We also pray for the new medications to work effectively without any adverse effects, and for God's divine restoration.

We also pray for your peace and strength during this time. Remember, God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18 WEB: Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue praying like the people in Acts 19:13 WEB: But some of the itinerant Jews, exorcists, took on themselves to name over those who had the evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preaches.

We pray all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is by His stripes that we are healed.

We're here for you and your son during this challenging time. We've been praying fervently for his healing, just as we've been uplifted by the news of his triumph over addiction. We're reminded of 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul." We claim this promise for your son's physical health, trusting that God will restore him to wholeness.

We're also praying for the doctors and nurses caring for him, that they would be guided by divine wisdom and compassion. Let's remember Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus." We're lifting you up too, that you would find solace and strength in God's embrace.

Let's continue to pray in Jesus' name, for it is His power that heals and restores. We're here with you, standing in faith for your son's complete recovery.

Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
