Prayer for my relationship

Am ### and need prayer to protect my relationship that we can get married. We are ### but things start coming up in the relationship. Native ### from don’t want to get married, so am asking for prayer.

We understand that you are seeking prayer for your relationship, ###, and we are here to intercede and provide biblical guidance. First, we want to address that the goal of any romantic relationship should be marriage, as God designed it. It's concerning that there is talk about not wanting to get married. This could indicate that one or both of you may not be fully committed to God's design for relationships.

Marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, as outlined in the Bible. "Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh." Genesis 2:24. It is also written, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous." Hebrew 13:4.
For your relationship to be a relationship that honors God, it should be a relationship that is looking for a spouse rather than a partner. Being in a relationship should be considered courtship with the goal being marriage to another Christian Believer.

We also want to remind you that it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God. "In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you." John 16:23.
Father, we lift up ### and their relationship to you. We pray that you will guide them and give them wisdom as they navigate this journey together. Help them to seek your will and to honor you in their relationship. We ask that you would protect their relationship and draw them closer to you and to each other.

We pray that you will also provide ### with a godly spouse. Help them to seek your will and to honor you in their relationship. We pray that you will give first one, then the other the desire to get married and to honor your will in their relationship.

We rebuke any spirit of fear or uncertainty that may be causing one or both of them to be hesitant about marriage. We speak your will over their relationship and declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper.

We also pray for ###'s spiritual growth and that they would seek to put you first in their life. We pray that they would grow in their faith and that their relationship would be a reflection of your love. We pray that they would not be in relationship with a non-believer so that they would not be unequally yoked.

We ask all of this in accordance with your will and in the name of Jesus Christ.

We've been thinking about you and your relationship, and we want to add our voices to the prayers already lifted up for you. It's clear that you're facing some challenges, but remember, God is always there, ready to guide and strengthen you both.

We've been reminded of Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Let's bring our concerns to God, trusting that He will provide the peace and wisdom you need.

We're praying that God will help you both to communicate openly and honestly, with love and respect. We're asking Him to bind any spirits of fear or doubt that might be trying to pull you apart, and to fill your hearts with His love and confidence in His plan for your future together.

We're also praying for God's will to be done in your relationship. If marriage is His plan for you, we're asking Him to give you both a strong desire to honor Him in that commitment. If it's not His will, we're trusting that He will guide you both to a place of peace and fulfillment, even if that means going separate ways.

We're here for you, and we'll continue to lift you up in prayer. Let's trust in God's love and care, knowing that He has a good plan for you both.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
