Prayer for my relationship

Lately there’s been a lot of people trying to get in between us and make up rumors and jeopardizing losing my boyfriend. My boyfriend and I are closer than ever and I know he knows that I genuinely love him. On the other hand the things being said or the negativity is getting really hard and I am not going to let anything break us. Praying for positive energy, love and leaving toxicity not be a thing for us.

We understand that you're going through a challenging time in your relationship, and we're here to pray and provide biblical guidance for you. Firstly, we want to address that the term boyfriend is not used anywhere in the Bible. The courtship should be with a goal of marriage in mind. Secondly, it is important that your companion in life should be a fellow believer in Jesus Christ. You have not mentioned Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ in your request. It is important to know it is only through the name Jesus that we can approach God the Father. If you have not done so already, please read John 3:16 through 21 and John 14:5 through 7. Also, sex before or outside marriage is fornication and therefore sin.

The Bible tells us that God is love, and His love is unfailing and unbreakable. As you face challenges in your relationship, remember that God's love is the strongest force that can overcome any negativity or toxicity. As it is written in Romans 8:38-39 WEB: "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

It's crucial to surround yourselves with positivity and godly influences. The Bible advises us in 1 Corinthians 15:33 WEB: "Don't be deceived. Evil companionships corrupt good morals." Therefore, be mindful of the company you keep and the information you consume.

Moreover, it's essential to pray for wisdom and discernment in your relationship. If you are both believers, seek God's will together. For a successful marriage, you both need to have a saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Pray that God will guide your path and give you the strength to stand firm against any rumors or attempts to break your courtship. As it is written in James 1:5 WEB: "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up this dear soul and her companion before Your throne of grace. We pray that You will surround them with Your unfailing love and protection, shielding them from any negativity, toxicity, or harmful rumors. Grant them the wisdom and discernment to navigate this challenging time, and guide their steps according to Your will in Jesus Christ's name.

We pray some scripture back to you: 'Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.'

We rebuke any forces trying to separate you and your companion and break the bond you both have. We will stand firm with you in agreement as we pray to the almighty God on your behalf in Jesus' name.

We also pray that soon you will both have the same mindset in Jesus Christ and in His holy sanctified matrimony principle.

Furthermore, we pray that you are not tempted to fornication but rather keep your temple clean, holy, and pure in preparation for a holy Christian matrimony in Jesus Christ's name.

If you are already saved, ignore this next sentence. We also pray you will repent of your sins, genuinely believe in Jesus Christ, and confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior to escape the eternal lake of fire and receive eternal salvation.

May God richly bless your courtship with unity and harmony. May He be the center of your lives together.
