Doris, we are truly moved by your request and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your relationship with Juan. We appreciate your patience and love for him, but we must ensure that your relationship aligns with biblical principles.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the importance of a relationship that honors God. 2 Corinthians 6:14 in the WEB says, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" As you remain patient with Juan's path with Christ, we encourage you to also seek God's guidance in this relationship, ensuring that Juan is indeed a believer who is committed to growing in his faith.
We also want to address the sanctity of marriage. We believe that God's design for relationships is for a man and a woman to come together in holy matrimony, as stated in Mark 10:6-9: "But from the beginning of the creation, God made them male and female. For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will join to his wife, and the two will become one flesh, so that they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate." We encourage you to pray for God's will in this relationship, and if it is His will, for Juan to be a godly husband to you.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up Doris and Juan. We ask, Lord, that You guide their relationship according to Your will. Help them to grow together in faith and love, and if it is Your will, lead them to a godly marriage that honors You. Strengthen Doris' faith and patience, Lord, and help Juan to grow in his commitment to You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Doris, we also want to ensure that you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. If you haven't already, please confess your sins and believe in Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Romans 10:9 says, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." This is the foundation of our faith and our prayers.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue in prayer and studying God's Word. Psalm 119:105 says, "Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path." Trust that God will guide you and Juan according to His will.
May the Lord bless you and keep you, Doris. We are praying for you.
