Thank you for reaching out and sharing your request. We understand that you're seeking prayer and help for your relationship with your child's father. First, we want to address a few things according to God's Word, and pray for your situation.
We notice that the request is focused on your baby daddy loving you more, but let's look at what God's Word says about love and relationships. The Bible tells us in Leviticus 18:22 and 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 that sexual relationships are to be between a man and a women in marriage. We also read in 1 Corinthians 7:2 But because of sexual immorality, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband. We understand that this is a difficult situation, but having a child together does not mean that it's okay to be in a sexual relationship outside of marriage. God wants the best for us, which is why He gives us these guidelines.
Galatians 5:19-21 warns us that those who practice sexual immorality will not inherit the kingdom of God. This is why we encourage you both to pursue a godly marriage if you're both believers and committed to living according to God's Word, or to remain celibate. If you are not married, then being a boyfriend and girlfriend should be considered courtship with the goal being marriage to another Christian Believer. Being yoked together in an unmarried relationship is not God's will. Fornication is sex outside of marriage.
We also noticed that the name of Jesus Christ was not mentioned in this request, but it is only by His name that we have access to God. The Bible teaches in John 14:6 that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Him. So, we will pray in Jesus' name.
Let's pray for the father of your child:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the father of this child. We pray that You would convict his heart and draw him closer to You. We ask that You would help him to be a godly father, providing for and supporting his child as he should. We also pray that You would remove anything or anyone that is hindering them for pursuing a godly relationship together.
Now, let's pray for you:
Lord, we lift up this dear one to You, asking that You would fill her with Your peace, love, and joy. We pray that You would help her to trust in You and Your timing. We ask that You would guide her steps and give her the strength to follow Your will, even when it's difficult. Help her to be the best mother she can be, raising her child to know and love You. We also ask that You will bring a godly spouse into her life that will be a positive influence on her and her child.
Finally, we pray for the child:
Father, we ask that You would bless this child and keep him or her from harm. We pray that You would help him or her to grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man. We ask that You would guide their family and provide for their needs.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying and seeking God's will for your life. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. If you have not already, turn your life over to Jesus Christ and pursue a relationship with Him.
