Dear Syltam, we join you in your plea to God, seeking His healing and comfort. We stand in agreement with you, believing in the power of prayer in the name of Jesus Christ.
Firstly, we want to assure you that God is near to those who are hurting. As it says in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We pray that you will feel His presence and comfort in your pain.
We pray for your physical health, specifically for the pain from your intestinal issues to be eased. We believe in the power of God's healing, as shown in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."
We also pray for your mental well-being, that God would aid you in loving and forgiving yourself. Remember, God loves you unconditionally, and His mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). In Jesus Christ, you are a new creation, the old has passed away (2 Corinthians 5:17).
You also mentioned your loved ones, especially Paige. We lift them up to God, asking for His protection and care over their lives. We pray that God's will be done in their lives and that they too may experience His love and grace.
However, we noticed that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we have access to God and salvation. As it says in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We encourage you to pray in the name of Jesus, as it is through Him that our prayers are heard by God.
Lastly, we leave you with these words from Romans 8:26, "In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered." Even when we don't know how to pray, the Holy Spirit intercedes for us.
We join you in prayer, Syltam. In Jesus' name, amen.
