Thank you for reaching out to us with your prayer request. We understand that you are seeking God's intervention for your periods to come quickly and you have indeed prayed in the name of Jesus.
Firstly, our group believes that it is important to recognize that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we should honor God with our bodies. Sometimes, our bodies may not function as we expect, but we trust that God's design is perfect.
We have seen that changes in a woman's menstrual cycle can be affected by a variety of factors, including stress, diet, exercise, or underlying health issues. It is important to acknowledge that God's timing and work in our bodies may be quite mysterious and trusting in God's control over our bodies and planning is the first option. Nonetheless, taking care of our bodies is a responsibility that God has given us in His Word where the Apostle Paul says, Don't you know that you are a temple of God, and that God's Spirit lives in you? If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him; for God's temple is holy, which you are. 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 WEB
Now regarding praying in the name of Jesus, as highlighted in Acts 4:12 WEB There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.; the only means we have available to pray to God is through Jesus Christ. Trusting in His name and drawing close to God in our relationship with Jesus Christ is the most important thing. Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life. No one goes to God or Heaven but by Jesus only.
Also, let's look at Philippians 4:6-7 WEB which states In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. As we make our requests known to God, we should do so with thanksgiving, trusting in His perfect will and timing. Be anxious for nothing and thank God for all the things that He is doing in your life.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the precious name of Jesus, lifting up our dear sister who has brought her request before You. Lord, you know all things and you knit her together in her mother's womb Your word says in Psalms 139:13-14 WEB For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well. and You know the number of her days and the intricate functionality of her body. Your ways are always higher than our ways Isaiah 55:9 WEB For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.; as she waits for her menstrual cycle, and your sovereign plan, offer her Your peace that passes all understanding.
Father, help her to trust in Your timing and to take care of her body as Your temple, the dwelling place of Your Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and your spirit, which are God's.
Lord if there is any abnormality in what she is experiencing we pray that Your Holy Spirit would guide her and provide wisdom and counsel from Your Word and direct her to skilled physicians and counsel so that she may experience wholeness physically, emotionally and be spiritually uplifted. We ask Father, that You continue to reveal Yourself to her and deepen her faith in Jesus Christ. Protect her from anything that would not be in accordance with Your will. We thank You for all that You are doing in her life and we will trust in Your perfect plan for this situation. Help her likewise to be the bride of Jesus Christ awaiting His return.
It's in the mighty name of Jesus Christ that we pray. Amen.
Encourage yourself in the Lord, dear sister. Trust that God hears your prayers and is faithful to answer according to His perfect will and timing of the blessings that He intends for you.
