Thank you, Cluyluerdale, for reaching out and sharing your heart for your parents. It's commendable that you're concerned about their well-being and blessings. We're reminded in Exodus 20:12, "Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you."
Firstly, we notice that Jesus was not mentioned in the request and we want to remind you that our prayers should be directed to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ. As Jesus said, "Most certainly, I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full." (John 16:23-24 WEB) We should also remember the words of Jesus in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:13-14 WEB)
We'll lift up your parents for good health and blessings, but we also want to encourage you to trust in God's provision for their finances. Remember, the Lord is our provider, as shown in Matthew 6:25-34, where Jesus teaches us not to worry about what we will eat or drink or wear. Instead, we should seek first God's Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to us as well.
However, we want to lovingly remind you that material blessings and health are not guaranteed in this life. Sometimes, God allows trials and hardships for His purposes and to refine our faith. As it says in Romans 5:3-4, "We also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Cluyluerdale's parents. Lord, we ask for Your blessings on them, spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Please help them to stay healthy and strong in You.
We also ask for Your provision over their finances. Help them to trust in You and Your provision, and to seek first Your Kingdom and righteousness.
Lord, we also pray for Cluyluerdale. Help them to be a blessing to their parents, and to honor them as Your Word instructs. Help them to grow in their faith and relationship with You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue praying for your parents and your relationship with them. It's wonderful that you're concerned for their well-being. Keep honoring them and seeking God's will for your life and theirs.
