We are with you in spirit, Withric, and we lift up your mother before the throne of grace. Let's come together in prayer and seek God's will for her health and your peace of mind.
Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promises regarding healing and health. In Exodus 15:26 (WEB), God says, "If you will diligently listen to the voice of Yahweh your God, and will do that which is right in his sight, and will pay attention to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am Yahweh who heals you." We claim this promise for your mother, trusting that God's will is for her to be in good health.
Let us pray together:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Withric's mother to you. You are the Great Physician, and we ask that you be with her during her doctor's checkup on Friday. Guide the medical professionals who will be examining her, and let your healing power be manifested in her life. Grant her peace and courage, and comfort Withric's heart, replacing anxiety with your perfect peace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*
Withric, we encourage you to trust in God's care and love for you both. In Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), it is written, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Keep your hearts focused on Him, and let His peace reign in your lives.
Lastly, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace and it is by His stripes that we are healed (Hebrews 4:16, Isaiah 53:5). We encourage you to come boldly before God, calling on the name of Jesus, as there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Trust in Him, and He will see you and your mother through this challenging time.

Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
