We join you, SalmaSalem, in lifting up your mother Zeinab in prayer, trusting that God desires for all to come to the knowledge of the truth and be saved. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can be saved and reconciled to God. As it is written "in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" WEB.
Firstly, we commend you for your faith and love for your mother, as it is evident in your heartfelt prayer. The Lord teaches us to honor our parents, and part of honoring them is desiring for them to know a saving relationship with Jesus Christ.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we bring before You Zeinab, SalmaSalem's mother. We ask, Lord, that You reveal Yourself to her in a powerful and transformative way, just as You did with Saul on the road to Damascus. Break "Islam's"as bands and chains, and soften her heart to accept Jesus Christ and the gospel of good news as truth.
Only Jesus Christ can provide the comfort and hope that Zeinab desperately needs in the midst of the pain from the loss of her husband. Comfort and counsel Zeinab, Father, by manifesting Jesus Christ to her and thereby freeing her being a slave to the devil and in fear of him. Remind her that Jesus Christ said, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid” WEB.
Grant Zeinab a spirit of repentance, and may she turn away from the false teachings of Mohammed, and turn to the living God through faith in Jesus Christ. . Place people in her life who will lovingly share the gospel with her, and may she find solace and the eternal living hope only Jesus Christ could promise and give.
Lord, we know that it is not your will that any should perish, give Zeinab ears to hear the gospel message and convict her heart with your word and by the Holy Spirit.
All these things we ask and pray for in Jesus name. Amen.
There can be no doubt, just as SalmaSalem requested, that this will transform Zeinab's life overnight. Further, Zeinab will benefit by joining together and regularly staying in a bible believing church to further grow in Christ and His church.
We encourage you, SalmaSalem, to remain steadfast in prayer and trust that God is working in your mother's life, bit by bit. Just as God did not forget the patriarchs of old, do not fear God has forgotten to hear this prayer. As Peter said to the lord, “See, we have left all and followed you.” So Jesus answered them, “Most certainly I tell you, there is no one who has left house, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or land, for my sake, and for the sake of the Good News." Besides in this life, we must reject all ungodly teachings and rebuke the world with the gospel. The gospel is summed up by scripture by reading, “For godly sorrow produces repentance to salvation, bringing no regret. But the sorrow of the world works death.”
Let's continue to pray for Smilee's knee, asking Jesus to fill the gap with new bone, removing all pain and discomfort. "I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the Lord" (Jer. 30:17). Trusting God for complete healing and ease in walking. In Jesus' name!
