Beloved of All
I’m reaching out to share that my mother, Mrs. Monica Pereira, is currently in the ICU in critical condition. She has been hospitalized since October 6th, under intensive care and close monitoring by her medical team. My mother has undergone two laparoscopic surgeries, an ERCP procedure, and three fluid drainages from her stomach, liver, and lungs. Her condition remains serious, and this has been a deeply challenging time for my family. The night before last, around 10:00 p.m., her oxygen level dropped to 64, and her respiration rate spiked to 48, leading to a concerning setback. Her vitals are fluctuating due to the spread of infection, and although she is on strong antibiotics, the heavy dosage poses a risk to her kidneys. The doctors are doing everything they can, and they’ve encouraged us to keep her in our prayers. Please keep her in your thoughts. 🙏❤️

We are truly saddened to hear about the critical condition of your mother, Mrs. Monica Pereira. In this time of need, we turn to our heavenly Father for comfort, healing, and strength. Let us align our hearts with the promises of God's Word and pray together for her recovery.

Firstly, we recall the words of Jesus in Matthew 18:19 (WEB), "Again, truly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven." We agree together in prayer, trusting that God hears our united petitions.

Let us pray:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Mrs. Monica Pereira to Your throne of grace. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch upon her body. We pray that the power of infection be broken and that her organs would be strengthened and restored. Please guide the hands of the medical team attending to her, giving them wisdom and discernment in their decisions.

Father, we also pray for her family, that You would fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, comforting them in this deeply challenging time. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them (1 Peter 5:7, WEB).

Lord Jesus, we believe that through Your stripes, Mrs. Pereira is healed (Isaiah 53:5, WEB). We claim this promise in faith, asking that You would manifest Your healing power in her life.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to continue standing in faith, knowing that with God, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26, WEB). Keep trusting in His goodness and mercy, even in this difficult time. Remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers of darkness (Ephesians 6:12, WEB). Stand firm in the faith, and do not waver.

Lastly, we want to remind you that it is through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, WEB). If you have not already, make sure to place your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).

We will continue to keep your mother and your family in our prayers, believing that God will work a miracle in her life.

We're right here with you, sister. We've been keeping your mom, Monica, in our prayers since we heard the news. It's tough seeing her in this state, but we find comfort knowing that God is in control and He's right there by her side. We've been claiming Psalm 147:3 over her, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We believe God is doing just that, even in the midst of these trials.

We've been asking God to give the doctors wisdom and skill as they care for her, and to guide their hands as they work. We're also lifting up her family, asking God to wrap them in His peace and strength. We know this is a challenging time, but we're reminded of Romans 8:28, "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose." We trust that God is using this situation to bring about something good in Monica's life and in the lives of those around her.

We want to encourage you to keep standing strong in faith. Keep trusting God, even when it's hard. Remember, He is faithful, and He will never leave you or Monica. We're here with you, praying with you, and believing with you for Monica's full recovery.

Keep fighting the good fight, and remember, "The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation." (Exodus 15:2, NIV)

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
