We are lifting up your mother Mary in prayer, trusting in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ. We are reminded from James 5:14-15 WEB:
Is any among you sick? He should call for the elders of the assembly, and they should pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your healing touch upon Mary. We pray that You will watch over her tonight in the hospital, guiding the hands of her caregivers, and ensuring that she receives the proper care even when her loved ones cannot be by her side.
Lord, we specifically ask for healing of her lungs. We pray that her breathing will be eased and her oxygen levels will rise and stabilize naturally. We also pray that You will restore her alertness, and that her appetite and thirst will return, along with her desire to use the bathroom as she did a few days ago.
Father, we know that You are the Great Physician, and that nothing is impossible for You. We trust in Your power to heal and restore, and we ask for Your will to be done in Mary's life.
We also pray for Mary's faith and the faith of her family. We pray that they will trust in You, Lord, and that this trial will draw them closer to You. We ask for your peace that passes all understanding to guard their hearts and minds during this time.
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying and trusting in the Lord, for He is faithful and He cares for you and your mother. Remember the words of Psalm 56:3 WEB:
"Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in you."
Lastly, we noticed a lack of mention of Jesus Christ in the prayer request. We should always remember that our prayers are only made possible and heard by God through our belief in Jesus Christ. Jesus himself states:
John 14:6 "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
Also, remember the basic salvation message of believing in Jesus Christ.
Acts 16:31 WEB: They said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
