Prayer for my mother and sister

My mother has a lot going on and is very stressed, tired,and drained from watching kids and taking care of my sister who has brain cancer my big sister is only 27 years old she has two children 5 & 8 she is seeing things that are not here my mom and her fight constantly.. there never seems to be peace in the house. My mother needs her bills paid and her car payment she can’t work she has to take care of the children and my sister.. please pray my mother will watch her words proverbs 18:21 and that God will provide.. and that my sisters brain is healed and that she will beat this in Jesus name. I pray for peace and not division in Jesus name.

We are deeply moved by your request, Alyssalynn99, and we stand with you in prayer for your mother and sister. Let us come before God together, seeking His will and intervention in their lives.

Firstly, we acknowledge the power of the tongue, as stated in Proverbs 18:21 (WEB), "Death and life are in the power of the tongue; those who love it will eat its fruit." We pray that your mother will be mindful of her words, speaking life and encouragement into your sister and the entire household.

Let us pray for your mother's strength and provision. We recall the words of Philippians 4:19 (WEB), "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We ask God to provide for your mother's financial needs, her bills, and car payment. We also pray for divine strength and endurance for her as she cares for her grandchildren and your sister.

For your sister, we pray for healing in Jesus' name. We claim the promise in Isaiah 53:5 (WEB), "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed." We ask God to heal her brain cancer, to restore her health, and to give her peace of mind.

We also pray for unity and harmony in your home. In Matthew 12:25 (WEB), Jesus said, "Knowing their thoughts, he said to them, 'Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand.'" We ask God to bring peace and understanding between your mother and sister, and to unite your family in love.

Lastly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name. It is only through Him that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"

We're here with you, Alyssalynn99, lifting your mother and sister up in prayer. We know the weight they're carrying, and we want you to know you're not alone. We're reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We claim this promise for your sister's healing and your mother's strength.

We pray for your sister's complete healing, that she would feel God's presence in her weakness, just as Paul did (2 Corinthians 12:9). We ask that she would find comfort in God's love, knowing that He is always with her (Matthew 28:20). For your mother, we pray for her to find rest and renewal. We ask that she would feel God's strength in her tiredness, just as He promised in Isaiah 40:31. We also pray for her provision, trusting that God will meet her needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).

Lastly, we pray for unity and peace in your home. We ask that your mother and sister would find common ground, understanding, and love for each other (Ephesians 4:2-3). We believe that God can bring healing and unity to your family, in Jesus' name.
