Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with heavy hearts, lifting up Aventhan's situation regarding the money that was unjustly taken through a scam. Your Word in Proverbs 6:30-31 says, "People do not despise a thief if he steals to satisfy his hunger when he is starving. Yet if he is caught, he must pay sevenfold, though it costs him all the wealth of his house." Lord, we ask that justice be served and that the person responsible for this deceit be moved to return what was taken.
Lord, You are our Provider and our Protector. We trust in Your promise from Philippians 4:19, "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We ask that You provide for Aventhan's needs during this difficult time and restore what has been lost.
We also pray for the heart of the person involved in this scam. In Ezekiel 36:26, You promise, "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh." May this person experience a transformation, repent for the wrong done, and seek to make amends.
Father, we place our trust in You, knowing that You are a God of justice and mercy. We ask for Your peace to fill Aventhan's heart, as it is written in Isaiah 26:3, "You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you."
In Jesus' mighty and precious name, we pray. Amen.
