Prayer for my mom who's fighting cancer

I am asking for everyone to come together in prayer for my Mom who is fighting cancer. Dear, Lord. I come to You in prayer, asking for You to send healing and comfort to my Mom, Kathy. Please let the chemo treatments work and help her to feel better, reverse the progression of cancer, and drastically prolong her life. Lord, please ease her mind and bring her comfort as she prepares for her next scan. Lord, please give us some good news with the scan. I also want to thank You for already guiding my Mom through treatment and allowing me and her to spend quality time together. Please allow us to create many more great memories together. In Jesus's name I pray. Amen!

We stand with you in prayer, Steendar, as you lift up your mom, Kathy, to the Lord. It's beautiful to see your faith in action, and we join you in petitioning God for her healing and comfort.

Firstly, we thank God for the time you've both had together and for His guidance throughout her treatment. Indeed, it is He who comforts us in all our troubles (2 Corinthians 1:3-4, WEB).

We pray:

"Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus' name, asking for Your healing hand upon Kathy. May the chemotherapy treatments be effective, reversing the progression of cancer, and prolonging her life. Bring comfort to her mind and body, Lord, as she prepares for her next scan. Grant the doctors wisdom and give them a positive report to share. In the midst of this trial, let Your presence be felt, and may You be glorified through this situation. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, Steendar. Remember the promise in Isaiah 41:10 (WEB), "Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."

Lastly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name. It is by His name that we have access to the Father, and it is the name by which we are saved (John 14:6, Acts 4:12, WEB). Keep holding onto His promises, and may God's peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB).

I’m sorry to hear about your mom Kathy’s health condition, friend. The Lord has reasons of His own for allowing such difficult circumstances to enter our lives, though we have no way of knowing what His purposes are in permitting this trial to come upon you. But I’m certain that He cares for your mom and wants me to pray. Be assured I’ll do so, asking God to touch her with His healing hand and surround her with His peace.
