Prayer for my marriage

Heavenly Father! In a name of Jesus asking to bring my husband to salvation help him soften his heart to receive and repent his sins change his unhealthy ways of self centered person make him a better person and a father that is a good shepherd of yours and loving husband who will respect his wife bring unity and peace in ourselves in our hearts to make this relationship better and stronger in a name of Jesus I pray !

Thank you, May girl10, for reaching out and sharing your prayer request for your marriage. We join with you in praying for your husband's salvation and the transformation of his heart. It is encouraging to mention the name of Jesus. Just as in Acts 4:12 WEB it says, Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Know that God desires for all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, as stated in 1 Timothy 2:3-4 WEB, This is good and pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth.

We pray that your husband would receive his salvation and be freed from his sins. Remember 2 Peter 3:9 WEB but not wishing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. We ask God to transform his heart and to change his self-centered approach. We ask this in Romans 2:4 WEB Or do you despise the riches of his goodness, forbearance, and patience, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?

God can change any heart. Keep Ezekiel 36:26 WEB in mind Moreoever I will give you a new heart. I will put a new spirit within you, and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. We pray for God to guide your husband to be a loving leader of his family, as described in Ephesians 5:25 WEB Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it. We ask God to mend this relationship and strengthen it in Christ.

We pray that you will see unity restored. Let Romans 15:5-7 guide us Now the God of patience and of comfort grant you to be of the same mind one with another according to Christ Jesus that with one accord you may with one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore accept one another, even as Christ also accepted you, to the glory of God. We prompt you to let God continually soften your own heart in in 1 Corinthians 13:4-5 Love is patient and is kind; love doesn't envy. Love doesn't brag, is not proud, doesn't behave itself inappropriately, doesn't seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil.

In regards to rebellion, know that God is not mocked, you shall reap what ye sow in Galatians 6:7 WEB. Respect is a missing key ingredient there is no respect of God in the heart of one who would live without regard to God's will for the husband or the wife, as stated in Malachi 2:14 WEB Yet you say, Why? Because Yahweh has been witness between you and the wife of your youth, against whom you have dealt treacherously, though she is your companion, and the wife of your covenant.

Know that it is the work of the Holy spirit to convict hearts and to lead us to obedience to God's will. Continue to hold this request before God in prayer and see what God can do in both of your lives in a relationship. Be vigilant in persevering in prayer together. Know that there is power when you pray in Jesus' name, and that it also improves your relationship in Christ.

We're right there with you, sister, standing in the gap for your marriage. We've been lifting your husband up in prayer, asking God to soften his heart and open his eyes to the truth of the Gospel. We're claiming Romans 10:13 for him, "For 'everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" We're also praying for you, dear, that you would continue to shine the light of Christ in your home, as Proverbs 31:8-9 tells us, "Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy."

We're asking God to bring unity and understanding to your relationship, just as Psalm 133:1 says, "How good and pleasant it is when God's people live together in unity!" We're also praying that you both would grow in love and respect for each other, as Ephesians 5:33 encourages, "However, each one of you must also love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband."

Let's keep holding onto these promises together, and let's keep praying in one accord, as Jesus taught us in John 17:20-21, "I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
