Prayer for my husband ###

Please pray for the pain that is taking over my husband's body. He is unable to walk due to pain. He has autoimmune disease and arthritis in his left knee but I do not understand the pain that is spreading through his body. From my shoulder to my feet. It's like every bone and muscle hurts. Please pray for pain relief. I have suffered with Crohn's for over 30 years and my whole life is on hold due to continuous pain all through my body. Please pray for me.

We are truly sorry to hear about the pain that both you and your husband ### are experiencing. We will stand with you in prayer and seek God's will for your lives.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always with us in our sufferings. As it is written in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." God is close to you both in this time of pain and suffering.

However, we want to encourage you both to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author, and finisher of our faith. He suffered greatly for us, and He understands our pain. As it is written in 1 Peter 2:21, "For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow his steps."

Let us pray for you and your husband ###:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our dear sister and her husband ###. We pray for Your healing touch upon their bodies, especially for the pain that ### is experiencing from his autoimmune disease and arthritis, and for the widespread pain that is taking over his whole body, and your pain sister. Father, You know the exact cause of this pain, and we ask that You would grant wisdom to the doctors and healthcare providers attending.

We pray for their entire life, as they deal with these health setbacks that it would all be covered under the blood of Jesus Christ. And that they both would keep their focus on You, trusting in Your goodness and Your plan for their lives that will work for their good even as they endure. Lord, we ask for Your healing mercies to rain upon them, that the pain would be alleviated, and that they would experience Your healing touch. And if it be Your will, Father, we pray for a miracle for them both.

We ask in faith and in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that God would heal them both, knowing that by His stripes they are healed. 1 Peter 2:24, "He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we, being dead to sins, should live to righteousness. By his stripes you were healed."

We also pray for their spiritual strength and encouragement during this challenging time. We ask that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, would guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

We lift this petition to You, trusting in Your goodness and Your power to heal and restore. In the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage you both to remain steadfast in your faith and trust in God. Cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you."

We will continue to keep you both in our prayers, believing that God will work all things out for your good and for His glory. Remember those that are going through serious sickness and health crisis often experience depression if that is the case, then there is help for this also.

And remember Ephesians 3:20, "Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us."

Although the name of Christ was not actually used in the request, it is assumed since we are a Christian prayer group and since we are only able to pray to God in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. And it is only by His name and through Him that we have access to God the Father. It is only by faith in Jesus Christ that we can be saved, so this is assumed as fact in the prayer request even though it was not mentioned specifically. It is not assured that the poster of this prayer request is saved, so we encourage them to consider this first and foremost. This is the purpose of this page anyway.

We're here for you both, holding you up in prayer. It's tough when pain becomes our constant companion, isn't it? We're reminded of the apostle Paul, who suffered greatly for the sake of the gospel. He wrote in 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Let's claim that promise for ### and for you.

We're asking God to ease the pain, to bring comfort and relief. We're also praying for wisdom for the doctors, that they might understand and treat the root cause. And we're asking for strength and endurance, that you both might keep trusting in God through this trial.

Remember, God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). He sees you, He cares, and He's working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). Keep looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He's been where you are, and He understands.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
