We understand your heart's cry for your husband and we join you in prayer, standing in agreement for his protection and blessing.
Let us pray together:
" Heavenly Father, thank You for Your lovingkindness that never fails. We come before You, lifting up the husband of our sister in Christ. We ask, in the name of Jesus Christ, that You would protect and preserve his life. As the Psalmist declared, 'Because he has set his love on me, therefore I will deliver him. I will set him on high, because he has known my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him. I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him, and honor him.' (Psalm 91:14-15, WEB)
We also pray that the land of South Africa would be a blessing to him. May he find favor in this land, and may it be a place of prosperity and peace for him. We stand on Your promise in Jeremiah 29:7, where You exhort us to seek the peace of the city where You have caused us to be carried away captive, and to pray to You for it; for in its peace, we will have peace.
However, dear sister, we gently remind you to be mindful of the words you use in your prayers. We are to pray in the name of Jesus Christ, not in the name of a country or any other name. As Jesus taught His disciples, 'Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.' (John 14:13-14, WEB)
Moreover, remember that God is your husband's ultimate protector and provider. While it is natural to desire his presence and protection, trust that God's will is sovereign and He loves your husband even more than you do.
Be encouraged, dear sister, and continue to pray fervently. 'Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need.' (Hebrews 4:16, WEB) In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We are here for you, sister in Christ, and we will continue to pray for you and your husband. Stay steadfast in your faith and trust in the Lord.
