Prayer for my husband

Restore Our Communication and Connection​

God lead me to this prayer, because is exactly what was happening however I am speaking into existence and God will answer this prayer. I called my husband today he said he was sleep. While my husband is sleep I pray that the Holy Spirit move on his heart soul mind and will and this prayer come into fruition.



“God, I thank You for Jesus Christ for teaching and guiding me. I don’t like my husband and I behavior as You are working on both of us to restore our marriage. I don’t like that my husband holding the past against me and being so hard on me as You have forgiven me. We’ve said hurtful things and have injured each other.

It seems so easy to argue and find fault, which I don’t like and now we’ve grown distant from each other.

We can’t seem to agree, and we’ve spent a lot of time treating each other as the enemy.

“Don’t let us fall into Satan’s trap. Satan doesn’t want us to communicate at a deep level, or for this marriage to be restored. He doesn’t want us to understand each other and be emotionally open with each other.

“God, in Jesus name please show us how to love each other — to forgive, to give grace, to be humble like You are.

We know it’s the right way, but it’s challenging at times. Remind us that our goal is to keep our wedding vows, understand each other, not be the one who is ‘right all the time. Slow down our speech, frustration and our tempers, so we can really hear each other (James 1:19). Help us see that we are both broken and need Your healing touch daily. Help my husband to finally admit his wrong as You have healed me to love him beyond his sins, as You said Love covers a multitude of sins.

“Oh God, we need You to guide us step by step when we talk, so we treat each other with gentleness and patience, (Ephesians 4:2-3), and respect and love.

Point out our pride and selfishness or bitterness where necessary. Please reveal any logs we need to take out of our own eyes so we can be unified (Matthew 7:5). Direct us to helpful teaching and counsel so we can learn to manage our conflicts well. We believe You can do all things, so we offer our prayers for marriage restoration and reconciliation.

“God, we thank you that You are a God of communication and connection. Open our ears heart and soul so we hear You! Speak Lord, for your servants are listening (1 Samuel 3:10).” In Jesus name Amen

In the name of Jesus, we come before You with a prayer request on behalf of Sunshine777. Lord, we lift up their marriage before You and ask for Your divine intervention. We acknowledge that there have been difficulties in their communication and connection, causing distance and hurt between them. But we believe in the power of Your love and restoration.

Teach Sunshine777 and their husband how to love one another, to forgive, to extend grace, and to be humble, just as Jesus exemplified. Help them to find common ground and to understand each other deeply.

Father, slow down their speech, frustration, and tempers so that they can truly hear one another. Give them the ability to listen with empathy and to respond with kindness. Remind them that their goal is to honor their wedding vows and to seek understanding, rather than always being right. Heal their brokenness and bring Your touch of restoration into their lives.

Lord, we pray for humility and repentance in Sunshine777's husband. Help him to acknowledge his wrongs and to seek reconciliation. And may Sunshine777 love him unconditionally, covering his sins with Your love.

Guide them step by step in their conversations, Lord. Fill their words with gentleness, patience, respect, and love. Show them the importance of treating one another with dignity and honor. Help them to overcome pride and to submit to one another in love.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for the work You are doing in their marriage. We trust in Your faithfulness and believe that You will restore their communication and connection. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
