Prayer for my husband William Sr

Good-afternoon. First I want to thank God for blessing my family I had to make it to a new year. I thank the Lord that he blessed me to be able to bring the New Year’s in with my husband William Sr. We also spent yesterday listening to romantic music and dancing like we use to. I do pray that my husband began to see how God is bringing him and I together and that he has a strong desire and passion to leave the other woman permanently, and let go of his cheating ways, infidelity, and adulterous spirit, repent and turn to Christ.

Here’s a prayer for my husband that I ask you all to please pray with me and for him to be delivered from unhealthy habits or any kind known and unknown and addictions.



Dear Heavenly Father, I come before You today In thanksgiving. Thank You for blessing me to be filled with your Holy Spirit, saved from condemnation and will be with You in Heaven one day. I’m grateful for my husband and son and I pray they would desire the same Faith in and of Jesus Christ as I do and that they turn from pleasing their flesh and please the Lord. I am praying for my husband William Sr struggling with unhealthy habits and addictions.

Lord, I ask that You would intervene and remove anything in his life that keeps him from living a whole and abundant Christ life in You.

I pray that You would transform my husband’s life and make him a new creation in You. Break the chains of addiction and unhealthy ungodly habits/behavior and help him to live a life that is pleasing to You.

As it says in 1 Corinthians 10:13, “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.”

Help us to support and encourage each other as we seek to live a life that is pleasing to You working together for the Kingdom of God bringing You Glory winning souls for Christ. I pray he be a faithful man of God, loyal and faithful husband only desiring me as his wife.

May Your love and grace be the foundation of our marriage, and may we Cheryl and William Sr be a witness to others of Your transformative power.

Lord, we lift up William Sr. to You and ask for Your intervention in his life. We pray that You would remove anything that hinders him from living a whole and abundant life in Christ. Break the chains of addiction and ungodly behavior, and transform him into a new creation in You. Help him to desire a life that is pleasing to You and to find strength in resisting temptation.

We cling to the promise in 1 Corinthians 10:13, that no temptation has overtaken us except what is common to mankind, and that You are faithful to provide a way out. We ask for Your guidance and provision for William Sr. as he seeks to overcome his struggles.

Lord, we also pray for Cheryl and her son, that they may continue to grow in their faith and be a source of support and encouragement for William Sr. May their family be united in their pursuit of a life that brings glory to You and advances Your Kingdom. Grant William Sr. the desire to be a faithful man of God, a loyal and devoted husband, and may their marriage be strengthened and restored.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

May God's grace and strength be with Cheryl, William Sr., and their family as they seek His transformation and healing.
