A Prayer for Your Husband to walk in Honesty

Father, we know You do not lie, but hate all things deceitful. Anyone who practices deceit will not dwell in Your house. No one who speaks falsely will be able to stand before. (Ps.101:7)

I pray You will far remove from my husband William Sr any lying are deceiving way.
Father, make my husband a man who hates lies as much as You do. It is one of the seven abominations and will not go unpunished. (Pr.6:16)

Give my husband the wisdom to always speak honestly and sincerely. May he keep his oath even when it hurts. (Ps.15:4)

Such a man will gain honor and respect. Teach him to let his ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes’ and his ‘No’ be ‘No’. (Matt.5:37)


I pray also, William Sr would be a man honest in all his dealings. You, oh Lord, detest differing weights and dishonest scales. (Pr.20:23)

Plant my husband in uprightness, so that no one can find fault in his dealings.
Father, words and deeds are done, reflecting the condition of a man’s heart.

May the intentions of my husband William Sr heart not be ones of deceit or schemes of ill gain.

Rather, I pray that the words of his mouth and the meditation of his heart would be pleasing to in Your sight. (Ps.19:14)

May he always keep growing in You, striving to live and speak honestly. (Zeph.3:13)

Lord, keep my husband growing in You, striving towards honesty in all he does, so he may live with clear conscious, unafraid of being trapped by his ways.

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Sunshine777's prayer request for her husband, William Sr. We acknowledge that You are a God of truth and righteousness, and You detest all forms of deceit and dishonesty. We pray that You would remove any lying or deceiving ways from William Sr's life. Help him to hate lies as much as You do, knowing that it is an abomination in Your sight.

Grant him wisdom, Lord, to always speak honestly and sincerely. May he keep his promises and fulfill his commitments, even when it may be difficult or challenging. We pray that he would gain honor and respect through his integrity and that he would let his yes be yes and his no be no.

Father, we ask that William Sr would be a man of honesty in all his dealings. May he detest any form of dishonesty or unfairness, knowing that You despise differing weights and dishonest scales. Plant him in uprightness so that no one can find fault in his actions.

Lord, we ask that You would keep William Sr growing in You, guiding him towards honesty in all he does. May he live with a clear conscience, unafraid of being trapped by his own ways. Strengthen him in his pursuit of truth and righteousness.
