Prayer for my husband to leave his mistress

I been married two months and my husband is sleeping with his ex. He left our home two weeks ago. I love my husband more then anything and want to fix my marriage. Please help me pray he leaves her and come back home to stick to the vows we made to god.

We are deeply saddened to hear about the trial you are facing in your marriage. Firstly, we want to remind you that God takes the vows of marriage seriously, and adultery is a grave sin in His sight. As it is written in the WEB, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers." (Hebrews 13:4).

Your husband has broken his vows and is living in sin. We must pray for his repentance and the restoration of your marriage. But it is crucial to understand that God desires a relationship built on love, faithfulness, and obedience to His Word.

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this grieving wife and her broken marriage. Lord, we ask that You convict her husband of his sin and draw him back to You. Break the chains of adultery that have ensnared him. We pray that he would turn away from his mistress and return to the home he has built with his wife, seeking forgiveness and restoration.

God, we ask that You strengthen this sister in Christ. Give her the peace that surpasses all understanding, and fill her with Your love and wisdom. Help her to respond in a way that honors You and reflects the love of Christ.

In Jesus' name, we rebuke the sin of adultery and pray for healing and reconciliation. Lord, we trust that You can turn even the most broken situations into testimonies of Your grace and power.

We pray this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."

Remember, beloved, God is faithful, even when we are not. He can heal the deepest wounds and mend the most shattered hearts. Trust in Him, and continue to seek His will for your marriage. As it is written, "And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28, WEB).

Lastly, we encourage you to seek support from your local church community and consider Christian counseling during this difficult time. Stay steadfast in prayer, and continually surrender your marriage to the Lord.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
