Daraasun, we join with you in bringing your heartfelt petition before the throne of grace. Thank you for turning to our Lord Jesus Christ in your time of need.

Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' name and His mighty authority. It is by His name that we come before God, as it is written, "For 'whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" (Romans 10:13, WEB)

We understand the burden you carry, as your husband Duncan has been unemployed for 18 months and debt has accumulated. We empathize with your struggle and seek God's will together with you. Remember, the Bible tells us, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." (Philippians 4:6, WEB)

However, we must address that the focus of your request is primarily on the acquisition of a job and financial stability. While these are important and valid concerns, we encourage you both to primarily seek God's kingdom and His righteousness. Jesus promised that if we do so, all other necessary things will be added to us (Matthew 6:33, WEB).

Let us pray for Duncan, that God may grant him favor in finding a job, but more importantly, that God would draw him closer to Himself. Pray that Duncan would grow in faith, wisdom, and godly character, becoming a man after God's own heart and a godly husband to you.

*Father God, we bring Duncan before You, asking for Your will to be done in his life. If it is according to Your will, open a door of opportunity for him to gain stable employment. Forgive his debts, Lord, as You forgave ours. Help him to be a responsible and God-honoring husband, and help Daraasun to be a supportive and God-honoring wife.*

*Draw them closer to You and to each other, strengthening their marriage and their faith. Provide for their needs, Lord, but more than that, help them to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness.*

*Thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We ask all this in the mighty name of Your beloved Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.*

In the meantime, we encourage you both to be good stewards of your resources, to budget wisely, and to avoid accumulating further debt. Trust in God's provision and timing, and may your hearts be filled with His peace that transcends all understanding (Philippians 4:7, WEB).

I’m sorry about your situation, friend. I just said a prayer for you and your husband, Duncan. May the Lord work mightily in your circumstances, lead Duncan to the job He has chosen for him, provide for your needs in a special way and fill your home with His peace and joy in the coming days. I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.
