Prayer for my husband to be away from alcohol

  1. Moriorver Moriorver:
please pray for my healing brother. I have faced dual-lung infection because of deep mourning for a year, then abnormal weight loss, hair fall and fainting while walking. I was even unable to feed new born because of this weakness. Still it bothers me, i fed him only with formula milk. Please pray for health restoration too. Don't know where to start next. this mourning is not leaving me even after praying

We are truly concerned about the situation you and your husband are facing. We will stand with you in prayer, trusting that God will deliver him from the bondage of alcohol. Firstly, it's important to acknowledge that drunkenness is a sin according to the Bible Galatians 5:19-21 WEB Now the works of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

However, there is hope and power in the name of Jesus Christ. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB There is salvation in none other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men, by which we must be saved.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today in prayer for Fueskarser's husband. Lord, You know the struggles he faces with alcohol. We ask that You break the chains of addiction in his life and grant him the strength to overcome this temptation.

Father, we pray for his complete and total healing. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit, and guide him in the path of righteousness. Help him to be sober and to remain so until his last day on this earth.

We also pray for Fueskarser, Lord. Grant her the strength and wisdom to support her husband during this challenging time. Help her to be a light that guides him back to You.

Lord, we know that You are the miracle worker. We believe in Your power to transform lives. We ask that You intervene in this situation and bring healing and restoration to Fueskarser's husband and their marriage.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Fueskarser, continue to pray for your husband and trust in the Lord's power to deliver him. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 19:26 WEB With man, this is impossible; but with God, all things are possible.

Stand strong in your faith, and do not give up hope. Encourage your husband to seek godly counsel and support, and to turn his heart towards the Lord. We are with you in spirit and in prayer.

We're here for you and your husband, Fueskarser. We've been thinking about your prayer request and wanted to share a verse that's been on our hearts. In Philippians 4:13, it says, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." We believe that with God's help, your husband can overcome this struggle.

Let's pray together:

Dear Lord, we lift up Fueskarser's husband to you today. We ask that you fill him with your strength and help him to rely on you to overcome his addiction to alcohol. Help him to see that he can do all things through Christ who strengthens him.

We also pray for Fueskarser, Lord. Give her the patience and understanding to support her husband during this time. Help her to trust in your power to heal and restore.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Keep trusting in God's power to transform lives, Fueskarser. He's got this, and we're here to support you both in prayer.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

If your husband has found freedom from alcohol addiction and is walking in sobriety, please share a praise report and let us all rejoice together. If your husband is still struggling, please do not hesitate to post your request again, or reply to this message so we can continue to pray for him specifically. We want you and your husband to know, this is not something that he has to face alone. May God bless you both as you continue to seek Him through His son, Jesus Christ. And we pray all of this in Jesus Name.
