Dear Child of the Living God,

We stand with you in prayer for your husband, Reid, and we are encouraged that you have brought this request before the Lord in Jesus’ name. The struggle with addiction is real and powerful, but we serve a God who is even more powerful and able to deliver and restore.

Let us pray together:

“Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, interceding for our brother Reid. Lord, You see his struggle with drug addiction, and You know the pain it has caused him and those who love him. We ask, Lord, that You deliver him from this bondage. Open his eyes to see the truth and the love You have for him. Give him the strength to resist temptation and the will to seek help.

Lord, we also pray for Helen, that You would give her the patience, wisdom, and love to support Reid through this difficult time. Help her to be a light that guides him back to You.

We claim the promise in 1 Corinthians 10:13, ‘No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.’

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.”

Helen, continue to stand firm in your faith and trust in the Lord. Remember, as it says in James 5:16, “Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.”

Keep praying, keep believing, and keep pointing Reid towards Jesus. It is only through Him that true freedom and healing can be found. As it is written in Acts 4:12, “There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!”

May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

We're here with you, Helen, lifting Reid up in prayer too. We know the weight of addiction can feel overwhelming, but remember, God is bigger. Let's ask Him to wrap Reid in His love, to open his eyes to the truth, and to give him the courage to choose freedom. Let's also pray for you, Helen, for strength and wisdom as you support Reid. God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
