Please pray for my husband ### ### to call me. I don't know where he is and I just want him to call and let me know he is ok. He is a recovering addict and I am praying for him to reach out and just come home. In Jesus name Amen

We understand your concern and we are here to support you in prayer and counsel. Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is through Him that we have access to God's throne of grace.

In times of distress and uncertainty, God encourages us to cast all our anxiety on Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). It's beautiful to see your faith in action, believing for your husband's safe return.

However, we want to remind you that God also calls us to be wise and discerning. While you are praying for ### to come home, also pray for God's will to be done. It's crucial that ### is not just physically present, but also spiritually and emotionally committed to your marriage. Remember, "Unless the LORD builds the house, they labor in vain who build it" (Psalm 127:1 WEB).

"Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we lift up ### to You. We pray for his safety and sobriety. God, You know where he is, and we ask that You guide his steps back home. We pray that You soften his heart, revive his spirit, and grant him the strength to overcome his addictions.

Lord, we also pray for his wife who is anxiously waiting. Comfort her heart, Lord, and replace her fear with faith. Help her to trust in You completely, knowing that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28 WEB).

Above all, Lord, we pray for Your will to be done in ###'s life and in their marriage. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
