Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother Mathew to you. We humbly ask for your divine intervention and miraculous healing in his life. Lord, we pray that you would awaken Mathew from his coma, restoring him to full consciousness and granting him a meaningful life without any impairments. We specifically ask that you remove him from the ventilator that has been supporting him since January 29, 2024.
Lord, we also bring before you the twitching on Mathew's lips and face. We ask that you bring complete stillness and peace to his physical body, relieving him of any discomfort or distress. Grant him the ability to swallow and regain control over his bodily functions.
Father, we pray that Mathew would be able to see his loved ones, hear their voices, and recognize their presence. May he be able to respond to their commands and interact with them in a meaningful way. We ask for a restoration of his cognitive abilities and for his mind to be clear and sharp.
Above all, Lord, we submit to your perfect will in this situation. If it is your plan for Mathew to be healed and for him to be able to return home, we ask for your guidance and provision in making that possible. We trust in your wisdom and sovereignty, knowing that you have a purpose and plan for Mathew's life.
We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for your faithfulness. We believe in your power to perform miracles and we place our hope and trust in you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Scripture References:
- Matthew 8:16-17 - "When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick. This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: 'He took up our infirmities and bore our diseases.'"
- James 5:14-15 - "Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven."
