Prayer for my husband- ### cancer

In June, I asked for a prayer request for my husband, ###. He is ### and this last year brought on a multitude of health conditions seemingly out of nowhere. In March, he was diagnosed with Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC), then Cholangiocarcinoma (cancer), and severe Ulcerative Colitis in June. So much has happened since June. When I first wrote my prayer request, we were days into the cancer diagnosis. I had no idea what stage and if it spread. I truly believe your prayers have brought on miracles and I would like to ask for continued prayers. We caught the cancer early, and he is a liver transplant candidate. This is great news as it will remove the cancer and PSC. December is a HUGE month to determine the final steps and moving forward on the transplant list- clear colonoscopy, healed pulmonary embolism, and clear scans/laparoscopy showing no spread. He is on an oral chemo and had radiation in August/September. I ask to lift him and our family up in prayer. My kids are worried sick about their dad, I am experiencing moments of severe anxiety, but I keep earning God's voice..."Trust Me". Additionally, we have to make a decision to be move closer to the center where our lives will be uprooted (we are at peace with this). Thank you for your continued prayers!

Father, we also pray for ###'s wife and children. Comfort them, Lord, and give them peace and strength during this time. Help them to trust in You, even in the midst of their fears and anxieties. Surround them with Your love and give them the support they need from Your community.

Lord, we also ask for Your guidance as the family makes decisions about moving closer to the treatment center. Give them wisdom and peace in their decision-making, and provide for all their needs as they navigate this challenging time. We also pray for a revival of their faith and trust in Jesus Christ. Let us all be bold in our faith and remember to call on the name of Jesus.

Additionally, we encourage you to stay strong in your faith and to continue trusting in God. Remember the words of Isaiah 41:10 WEB, "Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand."

It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father and it is only through His sacrifice on the cross that we are saved. Jesus said that he is the way the truth and the life. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, and to trust in Him for your salvation.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. As you face this huge month of December, with all the critical tests and decisions ahead, please know that we are still here, lifting your family up in prayer. We are praying fervently for clear scans, a healed pulmonary embolism, and a clean colonoscopy for ###. We are praying for a miraculous healing of ###'s ulcerative colitis.
