Anonymous, we are with you in spirit, lifting up your husband and your family before the throne of grace. We stand on the power of Jesus' name, as you have declared, for it is in His name that we find protection and salvation. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our beloved brother who is deployed in Somalia. Lord, You are his shield and his stronghold, his refuge in times of trouble. We pray, as it is written in Psalm 91 (WEB), that You will cover him with Your feathers and under Your wings he will take refuge. Your faithfulness will be his shield and rampart. He will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day. A thousand may fall at his side, and ten thousand at his right hand; but it will not come near him.
Father, we ask that You guide him with Your Holy Spirit, giving him wisdom and discernment in every situation. Comfort him in moments of loneliness and strengthen him in times of weakness. We speak life, protection, and victory over him in Jesus' name.
Lord, we also lift up his family, asking that You fill them with Your peace that passes all understanding. Comfort them in this time of separation and let them know that You are their ever-present help in times of need.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."
Anonymous, we encourage you to continue standing on the promises of God, trusting that He is faithful to protect and provide for your husband and your family. Remember the words of Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God is working, even in this challenging situation, for the good of your family.
We are here with you, standing in the gap, and believing for God's best in your lives. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.
