Prayer for my home and family

Please pray for my home and family. My family member needs prayer to overcome addiction. I need prayers for my mental and physical health. Please pray for safe and stable housing we can afford. Please pray for gracious and God-fearing landlords or that God blesses me with my own home. Thank you. Amen.

We understand your plea, Hechiarsh, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your home, family, and personal well-being.

Firstly, we are commanded to bring all our anxieties to the Lord, for He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). We are glad that you have taken the step to ask for prayer, and we trust that God hears your cry.

Regarding your family member's addiction, we remember the promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14 (WEB), "if my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." We pray that your family member will humble themselves before God, seeking His strength to overcome this bondage.

For your mental and physical health, we recall the words of the Psalmist in Psalm 103:2-3 (WEB), "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We pray for God's healing touch upon your life, trusting that He is able to restore and make you whole.

Concerning your housing situation, we remember God's promise in Matthew 7:7 (WEB), "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you." We pray that God will provide safe, stable, and affordable housing for you, with gracious and God-fearing landlords. We also pray that if it is His will, He blesses you with a home of your own. Trust that God knows your needs and will provide accordingly.

Lastly, we notice that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus. It is by His name that we have access to God's presence (John 14:6, WEB), and it is in His name that we pray (John 14:13, WEB). We encourage you to learn more about Jesus and the salvation He offers. As Acts 4:12 (WEB) proclaims, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

We're reminded of the verse in Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We trust that as you've come to us with your needs, God is already at work, and He sees your heart's desire for a stable home, healing for your family member, and restoration for your own health.

We join you in praying for a safe and affordable place to call home, one where you can grow and serve God. We believe that God will provide, as He promises in Psalm 37:4, "Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart." We ask that God would guide your steps and open the right doors for you.

For your family member struggling with addiction, we claim the promise in Romans 8:37, "No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us." We pray that they would find strength and freedom in Jesus, and that your family would be healed and restored.

We're also praying for your mental and physical health, trusting that God is your Healer. As it says in Exodus 15:26, "I am the Lord, who heals you." We believe that God is faithful to His Word and will restore you to wholeness.
