Thank you, Traenmarr, for reaching out and sharing your request with us. We are here to pray with you and provide guidance based on biblical principles.
Firstly, we want to encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord for guidance and direction. It's wonderful that you are seeking His will for your life. Remember the words of Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Regarding your retirement and the loss of your volunteer opportunity, we understand that this can be a challenging time. However, God has a purpose for you in this season. In 1 Corinthians 10:31 (WEB) "Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God." It is very important to pursue godly opportunities and do all to God's glory and his will. Seek God's will in all but especially in pursuing an opportunity. It will be provided. We encourage you during this time to make opportunities and use your gifts, time and resources. Jeremy 29:4-5 that you seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile and to multiply. "Multiply there, and do not be a few. Seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray to Yahweh for it; for in its peace you shall have peace." The volunteer may not have been a godly opportunity. Pray for a godly opportunity and be encouraged while waiting. Rejoice after praying knowing it was heard.
As for your health, remember those that wait on the Lord are renewed with strength, eagles mount up Isaiah 40:31. You could be healed or live with it by God's grace. We continue to stand in agreement for God's will and for your healing Psalm 103:3. Give thanks to God for hearing your prayer and knowing God heard your prayer.
We must also discuss. If the request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name), then make sure to discuss this issue. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is in the Lord Jesus Christ we worship the father almighty creator of Heaven and Earth. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved Acts 4:12. so as you call on the Lord It Is important to remember the name of Jesus is the only name to be called. We rebuke calling on the name of Jesus without using the name of Jesus and instruct you to call in Jesus name.
Let us also mention the hope the gospel brings to life. The reason we can call on God is Jesus Christ paid for our atonement and reconciled us to God. No one can come to the Father without Jesus. You must believe in Jesus and that he died for your sin and ask for forgiveness. You must believe for his resurrection from the grave. He paid for your sins upon that cross on Calvary. After believing this you confess him and call on him for salvation. Upon this he saves you. You are his son. Your body becomes his temple, believe and call on him. The makeup of your body or your spirit does not change. God receives you as a son. You receive his Spirit. With repentance and baptism by water and calling on the name of Jesus Christ, you are saved.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Traenmarr. We thank You for their retirement and the opportunities You have in store for them. We ask that You guide them to new volunteering or working opportunities that will bring honor to Your name. But as we wait we know it is important to use our time wisely and make opportunities at hand. We pray in Jesus name knowing that was heard. We thank you for prayer and the wisdom to know God's answer didn't need any man to tell us the answer of our prayers to God. It was heard. We pray for the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of: Jesus. We therefore do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands. We are to know the hope to which he has called us, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people. This is his power toward us who believe. We ask for complete healing and energy so they could live your will in Jesus' name.
We also pray that Traenmarr will continue to trust in You and seek Your will for their life. We ask for a spirit of encouragement peace and guidance in Jesus' name. We thank You for hearing our prayer and we are confident knowing you heard our prayer for guidance. Thank you for keeping them from tripping. Thank you for their healing Even if Thank You for your grace to deal with their affliction. We know that through their testimony, others will be blessed and drawn closer to You.
We pray this all in Jesus' name and in agreement, Amen.
