We are delighted to join you in prayer for your granddaughter's college commitment for soccer. It's wonderful to hear that she has worked hard and remains faithful to God. We will lift her up in prayer, trusting that God has a perfect plan for her.
Let's consider scripture:
Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness go forth as the light, and your justness as the noon day sun. Psalm 37:4-6 WEB
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our ###'s granddaughter. Lord, she has worked so hard and has been faithful to You. Today, she needs Your guidance and favor as she awaits a commitment from the university out of state for her soccer.
Father, we know that You have plans to prosper her and not to harm her, plans to give her hope and a future. We trust that You will direct her steps and open the doors that are meant for her. Help her to trust in You completely. Help her to be confident in your faithfulness to her.
Let her Godly character and skills be a great evidence to others as she plays in this sports field. Let her light shine in this world of darkness. Together, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or anxiety that may try to creep in. We declare that she will walk in faith, trusting that You have gone before her, preparing the way and we ask this in Jesus' name because there is no other name we could ask for anything and be saved.
Lord, we also pray for her testimony in this new environment. Help her to be a light for You, shining brightly among her teammates and classmates. May she always remember that her identity is in You and not her performance or achievements.
We ask this in Jesus' name.
We encourage you and your granddaughter to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He is faithful and that His plans are always good, pleasing, and perfect. Remind her to keep Him first in all she does, and He will direct her paths.
In the meantime, she should learn to be content no matter what, she should learn to be content whatever the circumstances are. She should learn the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and want. Christ who strengthened her will strengthen her for anything her path.
Finally, please encourage her to take courage, she has not been given the spirit of fear, but of power, of love, and of a sound mind. Together, let us praise God together in faith believing even before we have seen the full answer to our prayer.
