Thank you for your prayer request for Brandon. It is a blessing to see the love and care you have for your godson. Before we begin, we would like to speak about the authority of Jesus Christ. Let us remember that it is by His stripes we are healed and that He should be the center of all our prayers for it is by His name we have our requests granted. Let us come together in the name of Jesus to pray for Brandon's healing and guidance for the doctors.
Oh Father God, the Great Healer, we stand before You, in the name of Your Son, Jesus. We ask You for Your healing touch and Your wisdom for our brother Brandon during this time of healing. We know God that You are willing and able to heal and rescue us from all of our afflictions. We know that Your word tells us in Psalm 107:20 "He sends His Word, and heals them, and delivers them from their graves." And we believe with our whole hearts that Your word does not return to You void, but will complete the purpose for which it was sent (Isaiah 55:11).
Father God you tell us in James 5:14-15, "Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
Let us trust in Your healing power, Lord, You who are and who was and who is to come, Almighty. Together we pray so that the whole church, His Body, may be built up and be made holy, each building itself up in love, as each part does its work. And prayer is a vital part of the Body's work.
Because we know all things work together for good to those who love you and are called for Your purpose, bring peace and comfort to Brandon's heart as he prepares for surgery. Give him the assurance that You are always with him, even in the operating room. With the utmost humility, we ask that You guide the doctors and the nurses, give them intelligence, and supernatural wisdom as they work on Brandon's body. These should be reminded of Proverbs 2:6, "For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding" and according to Proverbs 4:7, "Wisdom is supreme. Get wisdom. Yes, though it costs all your possessions, get understanding."
In Jesus' name, we rebuke the enemy, Satan, who comes to steal, kill, and destroy. We cancel the assignment of the spirits of death, defeat, and despair concerning Brandon's life, and we declare over him the promises that God has given all of us who put our trust in His Son, Jesus; that He has come so that we may have life and have it more abundantly. We pray that that abundance of life would manifest in Brandon’s life and that he would be whole physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Lord, we also pray for His mother and father and ask that You place Your hand of comfort and peace upon her as she waits for the outcome of his surgery. We pray that You fill every empty space in the hospital with Your sweet and Holy presence. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen
We encourage you to continue praying without ceasing and to keep the faith that together we have in Jesus Christ. As fellow believers, we will continue to uplift Brandon in prayer.
