Beloved, we hear your heart's cry and stand with you in prayer and support. Let’s first address God’s promises and His unwavering love for you. In Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB), God says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." This is a promise you can hold onto, knowing that God has a good plan for your life.
Regarding your academic struggles, remember that the Lord is with you always. The Bible assures us in Psalm 121:1-2 (WEB), "I will lift up my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from? My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth." Keep trusting that God will help you overcome your academic challenges and fulfill His promises in your life.
It seems that your relationship with your father has been strained and has had a negative impact on your academic performance. The Bible reminds us that we should honor our parents, but it also teaches us to forgive and love even when mistreated. In Ephesians 6:2 (WEB), it says, "Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with a promise." However, your father's actions and words against you are not aligned with God’s will. 1 Peter 3:9 (WEB) says, "Not returning evil for evil, or insult for insult, but instead blessing; knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing." Forgive your father and pray for him, asking God to change his heart.
Now, let’s address the prophecies about your future. It is good to have aspirations of studying abroad, but always seek God’s will in every decision. Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB) says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." Trust in God’s plan for you, whether that includes studying abroad or not.
Finally, remember that our prayers and actions should always be in the name of Jesus Christ. As Acts 4:12 (WEB) states, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, thanking You for Your promise of a hopeful future for our beloved sister. We pray for her academic endeavors, that You will grant her wisdom, understanding, and the ability to achieve excellence. Please heal her wounded heart from the hurtful words and actions of her father. Give her the grace to forgive and love him as You do. Direct her steps according to Your will, whether that leads her to study abroad or not. Help her to trust in You completely, knowing that Your plans are good and perfect.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Stay strong in faith, knowing that God is working all things together for your good, according to His purpose. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and He will guide you through every challenge.
