Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear friend Sheri who is currently battling with the flu. We ask for your healing touch to be upon her body, Lord. Your Word reminds us that you are the Great Physician, and we believe that you have the power to restore Sheri to full health.
In times of sickness, it is easy for doubts and fears to creep into our hearts. We pray that you would strengthen Sheri's faith and remind her of your unfailing love and care. Help her to trust in your perfect plan, even in the midst of her illness. Your Word assures us that you are with us in times of trouble, and we ask that you would surround Sheri with your comforting presence.
We also pray for wisdom and guidance for the medical professionals who are caring for Sheri. Grant them discernment and skill as they provide the necessary treatment. May your healing power flow through their hands.
Lord, we know that you are acquainted with sickness and suffering. You have compassion for those who are weak and in pain. We ask that you would extend your tender care to Sheri during this time. Let her feel your loving arms around her, bringing comfort and peace.
Finally, we pray for Sheri's complete recovery. May she be restored to good health, free from any lingering effects of the flu. Strengthen her immune system and grant her renewed strength and vitality.
We commit Sheri into your hands, trusting in your perfect will. May your name be glorified through her healing, and may she be a testimony of your faithfulness and goodness. In Jesus' name, we pray.
Amen.
