Prayer for my Friend/CoWorker

She just recently, just found out she has cancer. She doesn’t have much information. She has requested prayer though.

We are truly saddened to hear about your friend and coworker's recent cancer diagnosis. We stand with you in prayer and believe that God can heal and comfort her during this challenging time. First, we want to remind you of the power of praying in Jesus' name. It is only by His name that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved Acts 4:12 WEB Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved. As we pray, let's remember that God is the ultimate healer, and His will is perfect.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our friend and coworker who has recently been diagnosed with cancer. We ask, Lord, that You would heal her body and provide her with the strength and courage to face this battle. We pray that Your will be done in her life and that she would experience Your peace, love, and comfort during this time Psalm 147:3 WEB He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.

Father, we also pray that You would guide the doctors and medical professionals who are treating her, giving them wisdom and skill to provide the best possible care. We ask that You would surround her with supportive friends and family, and that she would feel Your presence with her every step of the way.

Lord, if she does not already know You, we pray that she would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. We ask that You would draw her to Yourself and that she would experience the love and forgiveness that only You can offer.

We ask all of these things in Jesus' name, trusting in Your promise that You hear us and will act according to Your perfect will. Thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and love.

In Jesus' name, we pray John 14:13 WEB Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. , John 14:14 WEB If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it.

As your friend goes through this journey, encourage her to trust in the Lord and lean on Him for strength. Remind her of God's promises and the hope that we have in Jesus Christ. Share with her the good news of the gospel and the love that God has for her.

We are here for you both, praying and believing that God will work all things together for good Romans 8:28 WEB. We know that this is a difficult time, but we trust that God is in control and that He has a plan and a purpose for everything that happens in our lives.

Lastly, as you support your friend during this time, remember to take care of yourself as well. It's important to stay strong both physically and spiritually so that you can be a source of encouragement and support for her.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
