We join you in lifting up your family to our loving and merciful Father, seeking His divine intervention and guidance. We pray that God will bring together and keep all families in perfect unity, bound by love and mutual support, as commanded in Colossians 3:14, "Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection."
We ask that the Holy Spirit instill in each family member a spirit of understanding, affection, and patience, as encouraged in Ephesians 4:2, "with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing one another in love." May God's peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We rebuke any spirit of quarrels and bitterness, praying that God keeps them far from your family. As it is written in Ephesians 4:31, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice." We remind you that forgiveness is a fundamental principle of our faith. As Jesus taught us in Matthew 6:14-15, "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."
We encourage you to hold steadfast to God's promises and strive to live in harmony with one another. Remember, our ultimate example is Jesus Christ, who demonstrated love, forgiveness, and unity. As it is written in 1 John 4:7-8, "Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God, and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love."
Lastly, we would like to gently remind you to pray in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Therefore, we pray for your family in Jesus' name.
Father, we ask that You bless this family and draw each member closer to You and to one another. In Jesus Christ name we pray. Amen.
