Humble Prayer Partner
Hello,
My prayer request is for my husband to move back and for us to all be in one home. My husband was diagnosed with PTSD and it affects his decision making. Almost three years ago he decided to go back to his old job in another state and now he lives Monday through Friday there but comes home on the weekends. It has been very difficult to say the least, I’m home with two small kids, no help and I work full time. I pray that God blesses one of us with a great job opportunity so that we can live in one home. I don’t know what that looks like, but I pray that either my husband moves back home or me and my kids move where my husband is. I pray for restoration and a new job position that will allow us to live in one city. I have been praying for a very long time and there has been no change. In the name of Jesus! I just don’t know how to pray anymore, I don’t want to be the one preventative God’s blessings. Please pray for me and my family. Thank you all and God bless you all. Praise God for the answered prayers!

Katarina, we understand the deep longing and challenges you're facing, and we're here to pray with you and offer biblical guidance. We commend you for your faithfulness in prayer and for seeking God's will in your family's situation as outlined in 1 Thessalonians 5:17, "Pray without ceasing."

Firstly, we acknowledge your prayer in the name of Jesus, as it is only through His name that we have access to God and salvation. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

We want you to remain hopeful, as God cares for you and your family deeply. Remember the words of 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you."

Regarding your husband's PTSD, we pray for his healing and comfort. Remember and declare God is the great healer as noted in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." And Psalm 103:3.

Regarding your husband's decision, remember Ephesians 6:4, Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother which is the first commandment with a promise. So God is involved in the process of making those choices. Also that He has overcome the world and its challenges ad seen in John 16:33.

It's important to continue praying and trusting God, even when it feels like nothing is changing. God's timing is perfect and can grow through the trials. Romans 5:3 says, And not only this, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance. Along with Galatians 6:9, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we do not give up."

Lastly, we pray for your husband's job and guidance that aligns with God's will. A new job must be part of God's will for you and your family. We know that it is the man's responsibility to lead and support the home spiritually and financially. Genesis 3:19, "By the sweat of your face will you eat bread until you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken." So the Lord has made you his wife and all he is responsible for is you and your kids.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up ### and her family. We pray for her husband's healing from PTSD, for wisdom, godly decisions, and prosperity in the home.

Father, bless and sustain her husband in his work. Provide spiritual healing and clarity in his decisions. Call him to be the guiding force and shepherd he is meant to be, as this is his rightful place in the family.

Lord, we pray for a new job opportunity that aligns with Your will, allowing them to live together in one home which is pleasing. We ask You to comfort ### and the rest of the family.

We pray that she can use this time of being tested to grow as a Believer, to grow in empathy, and faith. Cast away from her any of the things that have her feeling so forsaken, so she will find and see this faith and love.

In Jesus' name, we pray for restoration, guidance, and provision for ### and her family and pray as we have asked and submitted this to God. We carry this with thankfulness, knowing the answer is in God's time.

Amen.
