Girthmund, we join you in lifting up your family before the throne of grace, seeking God's mercy and intervention. We pray that the Lord will change your story and bring about a powerful testimony of His goodness in your lives.
In the Bible, we are reminded of God's faithfulness and loving kindness towards us, as it is written in Lamentations 3:22-23 WEB, "It is of Yahweh's loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his compassion doesn’t fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." Hold on to this promise, knowing that God's mercies are new for you and your family each day.
As you pray for your father and the restoration of your family, remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 18:19 WEB, "Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven." We stand in agreement with you, asking the Father to bring about a change in your story and to reunite your family.
Regarding your request for USA visas, we encourage you to trust in God's timing and plan. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB tells us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." As you acknowledge God in your plans, He will direct your steps and open the right doors at the right time.
Lastly, we want to ensure that you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you haven't already, we encourage you to place your faith in Jesus, believing that He died for your sins and rose again to give you new life.
Lord Jesus, we lift up Girthmund and their family before You. We ask that You show them mercy and change their story. Bring restoration and healing to their family, and guide them in Your perfect will. We pray for Your divine intervention in their visa applications, and that Your goodness and faithfulness will be evident in their lives. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
