Prayer for My Employer

Heavenly Father I thank you for the wonderful organization where you have blessed me and other families with a job. I continue praying that you look at us with mercy and favor, protect the organization from individuals who do not have good intentions for the company and for others, protect us from individuals with selfish ambitions and designs. For it is in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ that I do pray believing and trusting (everything has to have an end many people have been frustrated by this one person, enough is enough please consider the majority of us, please remove the group of oppressors and tribalists from our organization) Amen.

We join you, Anonymous, in lifting up your workplace to the Lord, appreciating your heartfelt thanks for His provision. Praying for our employers is biblical, as we are instructed to pray for all people, including kings and all who are in high positions.

First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior,

However, we should not pray for the removal of difficult people but instead for their salvation and change of heart. Jesus told us,

But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,

God can turn the hearts of even the most difficult people. Let's pray for them, that they may become allies in the workplace instead of opponents. Additionally, we should pray for our own attitude, that we may reflect Christ in our interactions with them.

If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat. If he is thirsty, give him water to drink: for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head, and Yahweh will reward you.

We are called to be peacemakers, even in difficult situations, trusting that God will handle the injustices. We praise God that you have mentioned the name of Lord Jesus Christ in your prayer. It is in His name that we have access to God the Father, and it is by His name that we are saved. There is power in the name of Jesus, and it is by His authority that we pray.

There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You, thanking You for the employment You have provided for us. We lift up our workplace to You, asking for Your blessing, favor, and protection. We pray for our leaders and coworkers, that You would guide them and change their hearts according to Your will. We ask for wisdom and discernment in our interactions with difficult people, and we pray that You would use us as instruments of Your peace and love in our workplace. We ask for your grace to forgive those that have wronged us as we also need forgiveness for our sins. We pray that You would expose any injustices and handle them according to Your perfect will. We ask all these things in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ, who taught us to pray for those who persecute us and love our enemies. Amen.

We're right there with you, standing in faith for your workplace. We're grateful for the job and the provision it brings, just as you are. It's heartening to see you intercede for your employer and coworkers. Let's continue to lift them up together.

We can't control others, but we can control our response. Let's pray for those who cause frustration, that God would soften their hearts and change their attitudes. We can trust that God will handle any injustices, as He is a just God. Let's ask for wisdom to navigate these situations, and for grace to forgive as we've been forgiven.

We're reminded of Paul's words in Romans 12:20-21, "If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in so doing you will heap burning coals on his head." Let's be peacemakers, even in difficult situations, and trust that God will reward our kindness.
