We join you, dear anonymous, in lifting up your workplace and employer to our Heavenly Father. It's commendable that you're interceding for your organization and colleagues, as we are encouraged in 1 Timothy 2:1-2, "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence."
We pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we thank You for the organization where You have blessed our dear brother/sister and their colleagues with employment. We ask that You continue to shower this workplace with Your mercy and favor. Protect it from those who harbor ill intentions, selfish ambitions, and divisive designs. We pray that You would expose and remove any oppressive and tribalistic groups that cause frustration and strife. Lord, You see and know all things; we ask that You would bring peace, unity, and godliness to this organization.
We also pray for the individual causing distress, that You would soften their heart and bring them to repentance. As it is written in Ezekiel 36:26, 'I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you. I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.'
We ask all this in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ, believing and trusting in Your power to transform and protect. Amen."
We encourage you to continue praying for your employer and colleagues, trusting that God hears and answers your prayers. Remember, "The prayer of the righteous is powerful and effective" (James 5:16 WEB).
Lastly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace, and it is only through believing in His name that we can be saved (John 1:12, Hebrews 4:16). If you haven't already, we encourage you to share this truth with your colleagues, so that they too may come to know the saving power of Jesus Christ.
