We join you, dear Anonymous, in lifting up your workplace and your employer to the Lord. We appreciate your heart for your organization and your desire to see God's will be done.
Firstly, let's remember the words of Jeremiah 29:7, "Seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray to Yahweh for it; for in its peace you shall have peace." While this verse refers to a city, the principle applies to our workplaces as well. As we pray for the peace and prosperity of our organizations, we too will find peace and prosperity.
We stand with you in praying for God's protection over your organization. As you've mentioned, there are those who may not have the best intentions. Let's pray that God would reveal any hidden motives and thwart any plans that are not in alignment with His will. As the Psalmist wrote, "No one who practices deceit shall dwell in my house. No one who speaks falsely shall maintain his position before my eyes." (Psalm 101:7, WEB)
We also want to address your feelings of frustration. It's important to remember that God is sovereign over all things, including our workplaces. As Romans 13:1 reminds us, "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God." While this doesn't mean we can't seek change, it does mean that we should trust in God's ultimate authority and timing.
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up the organization where You have blessed Anonymous and many others with a job. We ask for Your mercy and favor upon them. We pray for Your protection over the organization, that You would guard it from those who do not have good intentions. We ask that You would reveal any hidden motives and thwart any plans that are not in alignment with Your will.
Lord, we also lift up the frustrations that Anonymous has been feeling. We ask for Your peace and patience to fill their heart. Help them to trust in Your ultimate authority and timing.
Finally, Lord, we ask that Your will be done in this organization. If there are those who are causing harm, we pray that You would remove them. But if You have them there for a purpose, we ask that You would change their hearts and use them for Your glory.
In all things, Lord, we trust in You. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ. As Acts 4:12 reminds us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you haven't already, we encourage you to ensure that your faith is firmly placed in Him for your personal salvation as well.
