Prayer for my doorman ###

Please my doorman ### recently got baptised am asking in Jesus name to pray for him as he now thinks he is in charge of the establishment, and I may have to fire him, he is getting tempted by woman taking different woman home and they feel like they have been used please pray he leaves and gets a wife also pray that he knows my position and I let things slide but enough is enough

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We will pray for your doorman ###, asking for guidance and wisdom for your working relationship together. It is encouraging to hear that ### has been baptized, signifying his new life in Christ. However, it is crucial that he understands that baptism is not a rite that gives us power over others, but rather a symbol of our submission to God and His authority and our need for forgiveness and cleansing from our sins.

Firstly, we must address the issue of his behavior and attitude. As it is written in 1 Peter 5:5, "Likewise, you younger ones, be subject to the elder. Yes, all of you gird yourselves with humility, to subject yourselves to one another; for ‘God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.’" We pray that ### will understand his role and responsibilities, and that he will conduct himself with humility and respect toward you and others. We pray for wisdom for you in managing him.

Secondly, we must address the issue of his relationships. As it is written in 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5, "For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to possess himself of his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don’t know God." We are called to honor our marriage bed to avoid any sexual activity except in marriage. These actions are that of fornication and will destroy his relationship with God and others. These actions may lead to him disqualifying himself as a Christian as discussed in Corinthians chapter 6. We pray that ### will resist these temptations and seek a godly Christian wife. Having a wife cannot include any girlfriend or other woman. We pray that God will guide him to a woman of God who will support and encourage him in his faith, as marriage is a lifelong commitment to a man and a woman ordered by God.

Further, we pray for that God will guide you and him as you consider his employment. As a business person you have an obligation to protect your customers, business, and employees. This may mean showing forgiveness and restoration in Deuteronomy 15:1, "At the end of every seven years, you shall cancel debts."

Finally, we pray that ### will truly understand your position and the grace you have shown him. As it is written in Ephesians 6:5-6, "Servants, be obedient to those who according to the flesh are your masters, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as to Christ; not in the way of service only when eyes are on you, as men pleasers; but as servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;" We pray that ### will serve you diligently and respectfully, honoring God in his work and working relationships.

Heavenly Father, we lift up ### to you, asking that you will guide him in his new life in Christ. Help him to understand his role and responsibilities, and to conduct himself with humility and respect. Help him to resist temptation and seek a godly wife. Help ### to have grace and patience with him, and also as an employer. They need wisdom. May ### truly understand the grace that has been shown to him and serve diligently and respectfully. And may his commitment to God be evidenced in all aspects of his life; including his work, lifestyle, and marriage. We pray these things in Jesus Christ name and believe that we have received our answer through your son Jesus Christ, Amen.
