We stand with you in prayer for your husband, dear sister, and we trust in the power of Jesus' name to bring healing and restoration.
Firstly, we commend you for your steadfast love and support for your husband. It is a reflection of God's unfailing love for us, as seen in 1 John 4:19, "We love Him, because He first loved us."
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading for our dear brother who is battling depression. Lord, You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We ask that You comfort him, let him feel Your loving presence, and grant him the joy of Your salvation (Psalm 51:12).
We pray that he finds joy in his marriage, as You have designed it to be a source of blessing and companionship (Proverbs 18:22). Let him delight in his children, who are a gift and reward from You (Psalm 127:3).
Lord, we ask that he accepts the love and help that surrounds him. Open his heart to receive the support of his family and friends, and guide us all in how to best love and assist him.
We also pray for their financial situation. Lord, You know their needs, and You have promised to provide for them (Philippians 4:19). We ask for abundance and prosperity, not just for their sake, but so that they may be a blessing to others as well (2 Corinthians 9:8).
In all things, Lord, help him to appreciate the small blessings, the beauty in life that comes from You. Remind him of Your goodness and faithfulness.
Lastly, we pray that if he does not already know Jesus as his personal Savior, that he comes to experience the saving grace of our Lord. It is only through the name of Jesus that we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue being a beacon of love and hope for your husband. Remember the words of Galatians 6:9, "Let’s not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up."
Stay strong in the Lord, dear sister, and keep your hope firmly grounded in Him.
