Prayer for my daughter’s fiancée

Dear prayer partners,
Please pray for my daughter’s fiancé Xavier. That God will touch him and he will become aware and help around the house with the little tasks. He does not participate in doing anything unless he his told to do so and it is frustrating to me. I don’t want to be upset about his behavior and wishes would pay attention more around the house and help. I invite God’s intervention in this challenge i am facing with him and seek his solution to it.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Xavier, Joy Ellis' daughter's fiancé. Lord, we ask that You touch Xavier's heart and open his eyes to see the importance of participating in the daily tasks around the house. Your Word says in Colossians 3:23, "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men." May Xavier find joy in serving and helping, knowing that his efforts are ultimately for You.

Father, we also pray for Joy Ellis, that You would grant her patience and understanding. Help her not to be upset, but to approach this situation with love and grace. Your Word in Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." May Your peace guard her heart and mind as she navigates this challenge.

Lord, we trust in Your intervention and Your perfect solution. We know that You are able to change hearts and bring about transformation. Let Your will be done in this situation.
