Let us pray: Dear Heavenly Father, We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up the daughter of the one who has submitted this request. We pray that you will destroy any power of witchcraft and arrogance that may be present in her life, for you desire that we be humble and filled with the Holy Spirit, not tainted by the deceitfulness of the evil one. The power of witchcraft, which is turning away from God, pride, or communicating with spirits or talking to the dead, is not of You. It can lead to bondage. We ask the blood of Jesus Christ covers her. Any opening to the enemy's power needs to be closed in the name of Jesus. Rebuke any presence of witchcraft in her life and close any doors she may have opened to the enemy. And in the name of Jesus Christ, pray that she be free and delivered from these influences. We stand in the gap with you and believe the fullness of freedom.
The fact that she wants prayer for her daughter’s marriage suggests there is a marriage, not a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship, seeking a spouse if she is not married already. This seems like a positive request consistent with Biblical values. Father, We pray for her marriage, that it be filled with hope and joy, in communion with each other and You. Psalm 37:4 (WEB) reminds us, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and He will give you the desires of your heart."
“Wives, submit yourselves to your husbands in the Lord; because the husband is head of the wife, as Christ is also head of the assembly and He is the savior of the body” (Ephesians 5:22-23). Marriage is to be filled with respect. This is the beauty and strength of your daughter’s marriage. These are godly marriages that you favor. Let not your daughter be arrogant, or greedy, or anything evil. For ‘arrogance leads to conflict’ (Proverbs 13:10) and a lack of harmony with God. And arrogance can weaken the marriage or break it apart. Instead, help her to have your favor upon her marriage and allow her to walk together with her husband (Proverbs 15:22) as you create unity. We can find wisdom in humility, but Proverbs 16:18 makes it clear that we will find destruction from arrogance. Rather, the goal for the wife is Proverbs 31:10 where a virtuous wife is priceless. Her husband entrusts his heart to her with no lack of gain, for she does her husband good all of her days. Our prayer is that Your will be done and that Your will reigns supreme over the marriage. God is in the relationship, a marriage you desire, a Holy covenant between you, her, and her husband. Please do not forget her marriage is not ‘in Christ’ and His saving grace. Do not forget we come to the throne of God by way of the blood and atonement of Jesus Christ. He is the mediator between us and God. He is salvation. And be saved by believing in his name. By Jesus Christ we can believe in salvation in His name. The ability to have one's sins forgiven, He is the perfect Son of God. Trust in the way to salvation, to atonement to forgiveness, and holiness in life and marriage. For 1 John 1:9, But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness (NLT) Forgiveness of your sins, love and grace of Jesus is the basis for this prayer. This has been the authority by which we have offered this prayer request.
The call to believe on Jesus Christ is throughout the whole chapter and even through he last verses, highlighting its importance- how important belief is in all prayers and life (Acts 4:11)
