We join with you, Anonymous, in lifting up your daughter Kerrica before the throne of grace. We are reminded of the words in 2 Chronicles 7:14, "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, pleading for your mercy and grace upon Kerrica. Lord, you know her struggles and the challenges she faces as a new resident in Texas with her baby. We ask that you open the doors of opportunity for her and grant her favor in her job search.
Father, we ask that you look past her mistakes and background, for your mercy is new every morning. As it is written in Lamentations 3:22-23, 'Yahweh’s loving kindnesses indeed never cease, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness.'
We pray that Kerrica will find a job this week, that she may provide for her child and experience your goodness. We also pray that this job will be a place where she can grow professionally and personally, and that it will be a blessing to her and her family.
In Jesus' name, we pray for financial success for Kerrica, that she may be able to provide for her child and live a life that brings glory to your name. We trust in your promise in Philippians 4:19, 'My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.'
Lastly, we pray that Kerrica will continue to trust in you, Lord, and that her faith will be strengthened through this trial. May she always remember that you are her provider and that your plans for her are good, to give her a future and a hope.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage Kerrica to stay persistent and trust in the Lord's timing. As it is written in Galatians 6:9, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap at the proper time, if we don’t give up." Remind her that the Lord is always faithful, and that his plans for her are good.
We also praise you, Anonymous, for coming to us in the name of Jesus. It is only through his name that we have access to the Father and can experience his love and power. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
