Prayer for my Daughter

My Daughters LandLord is about 88 yrs old & he is wanting my Daughter to pay him more rent She has live in his House for 7 years & has always pd her rent --Robert is his name & he told her he was evecting her if she don't pay him $300.00 more dollars a month which my daughter is on disability & can not afford to pay that extra money to him --he was so mean to her --Please pray he will stop any evection notices & not charge her more money? Please pray??

We understand your concern for your daughter's situation, Birdie. Let's bring this matter to the Lord in prayer and seek His guidance according to His will.

Firstly, we must remember that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our living situations. Psalm 37:5-6 (WEB) tells us, "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday."

Let us pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Birdie's daughter and her living situation. Lord, You know the circumstances surrounding this issue with the landlord, Robert. We ask, Father, that You would soften Robert's heart and work in this situation. We pray that You would provide a peaceful resolution and that Robert would not go through with the eviction or the increased rent. Lord, we know that You are a God of justice and mercy, and we trust that You will make a way where there seems to be no way.

Lord, we also pray for Birdie's daughter. Comfort her heart, Lord, and give her peace in this situation. Remind her that You are her provider and protector. We ask that You would guide her steps and give her wisdom in handling this matter. Lord, if it is Your will, open up alternative living arrangements for her that are affordable and safe.

Father, we ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to You and it is through Him that we are saved. Amen."

Birdie, we encourage you and your daughter to continue trusting in the Lord and His plans. Remember that God is faithful, and He will never leave nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6, Hebrews 13:5). We also encourage you both to study the Bible and grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ. It is crucial to know the Savior personally, for it is only through Him that we can come to the Father (John 14:6). If you or your daughter have not yet accepted Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today.

Lastly, we remind you to approach this situation with love and respect, even towards Robert. The Bible teaches us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). Trust that God is working in this situation, even if it is not evident right away.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
