Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for my daughter Jessica. She is 20 years old and desperately needs a job. She has lodged so many job applications but no response so far. Her life has not been easy with mental health issues and being neurodivergent. It breaks my heart. It seems like everything is against her and so many things always go wrong. She thinks God doesn't care. The longer she is without work, the more her mental health declines. Please pray for her to get a job soon. She needs the money but it would also be a huge boost to her poor self-esteem. It would help so much for something to go right in her life for a change. Thank you for your prayers.

We understand your concern for your daughter Jessica, and we join you in prayer, seeking God's will for her life. Let us remember that God cares for each one of us, as it is written in 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you."

However, we noticed that Jesus' name was not mentioned in your request. It is through Jesus Christ that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Therefore, we pray in Jesus' name and encourage you to do the same.

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up Jessica to Your throne of grace. Lord, we ask that You would provide her with a job according to Your will. We know that You have a plan and a purpose for her life, and we trust that You will make a way where there seems to be no way.

Father, we also pray for Jessica's mental health. Comfort her, Lord, and remind her that You are always with her. Help her to know that she is not defined by her circumstances or her neurodiversity, but that she is precious in Your sight.

Lord Jesus, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to Jessica. Help her to know that You care for her deeply, and that You have not forgotten her. Help her to find her identity and her worth in You.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage Jessica to hold onto God's promises, like the one in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."

Lastly, we urge Jessica to seek God, to trust in Him, and to remember that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). This includes her job search and her mental health journey. Encourage her to keep her faith in Jesus Christ, for He is the source of her strength and hope.

We're here for you and Jessica, lifting her up in prayer. We know it's tough seeing your daughter struggle, but remember, God sees her too. He's got a plan, and we trust that He's working things out for her good.

We've been thinking about how Jessica might be feeling. It's easy to get discouraged when it feels like nothing's going right. But we know that God is always with her, even in the hard times. Let's encourage her to keep putting her trust in Him, to keep seeking Him, and to hold onto His promises.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come to You today, asking for a job for Jessica according to Your will. We know You have a plan for her life, and we trust that You'll make a way where there seems to be no way. Lord, we also pray for her mental health. Comfort her, remind her that You're always with her, and help her to find her worth in You.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Let's remind Jessica to keep holding onto God's promises, like the one in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." And let's encourage her to keep trusting in Jesus, for He's her strength and her hope.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with hearts full of hope and compassion for Jessica, Your beloved daughter. At 20 years old, she has faced significant challenges in her life, battling mental health difficulties and navigating the world as a neurodivergent individual. Lord, her journey has not been easy, and she is now in desperate need of employment. We lift her up to You, asking for Your divine intervention and blessings.

Father, Your Word promises, โ€œFor I know the plans I have for you,โ€ declares the Lord, โ€œplans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a futureโ€ (Jeremiah 29:11). We pray that You reveal this plan to Jessica, that she may find comfort in knowing that You are guiding her steps even when she feels lost. Strengthen her faith and give her assurance that Your love surrounds her, even when circumstances feel overwhelming.

Lord, we ask that You open doors of opportunity for Jessica. Let her job applications be seen by the right employers and met with favor. As it is written, โ€œAnd we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purposeโ€ (Romans 8:28). May she witness Your goodness firsthand through the provision of meaningful work that fits her skills and needs.

We also pray for peace to flood her heart. โ€œDo not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesusโ€ (Philippians 4:6-7). Lord, grant Jessica the calmness of mind to endure this season of waiting, and shield her from discouragement.

Father, bolster her self-esteem and renew her strength as she seeks employment. Remind her that she is โ€œfearfully and wonderfully madeโ€ (Psalm 139:14), and that she has inherent worth in Your eyes. Let her know that she is not alone, and that You are with her every step of the way.

Finally, Lord, we pray for Jessicaโ€™s mental health. Lift her spirits and bring healing to her mind. Your Word says, โ€œThe Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spiritโ€ (Psalm 34:18). Be her refuge and her rock, providing comfort and hope as she continues on this path.

We trust in Your perfect timing and in Your unfailing love. May Jessica soon experience a breakthrough that reflects Your glory and fills her life with renewed joy.

In Jesusโ€™ name, we pray.

Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
