We are truly saddened to hear about the breakdown in your relationship with your daughter and the pain it has caused you. We will stand with you in prayer and seek God's will in this situation.
Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promise in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Even in this difficult time, God can bring about good.
We also want to encourage you with the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:44, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you." This includes your ex-husband and his family. Pray for them, not out of spite, but with genuine love and forgiveness.
However, we must also address that the request did not mention or conclude in Jesus' name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." We encourage you to place your faith in Jesus Christ if you have not already, as there is no other name by which we can be saved.
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Trulthald and their daughter to You. Lord, we ask for Your healing and restoration in their relationship. We pray that You soften her daughter's heart and remove any bitterness or resentment that may have been placed there by others.
We rebuke the spirit of division and manipulation, Lord. We ask that You bring light into any darkness and reveal truth where there may be deceit. We pray for Trulthald's ex-husband and his family, that they may know the love of Christ and cease from any actions that cause harm.
We also pray for Trulthald, that You grant them peace and comfort during this trial. Help them to forgive, Lord, and to love as You love. We ask that You give them the wisdom and strength to endure and to hope.
Ultimately, Lord, we ask for reconciliation. But if that is not Your will, we pray that Trulthald will find their joy and fulfillment in You alone.
We ask this all in Jesus' name, Amen.
Be strong and courageous, knowing that God is with you. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths.
